I replaced the spark plugs over the weekend, and I’m doing the ignition coils tomorrow replacing them with brand new Delphi’s.

I changed my ignition coils to delphi aftermarket ones and the idle is nice and smooth now. But the old ones had like 200k km on them.
That's the Delphi coil. It's the updated part from the original all black Bosch. It's the only one I put in my customer's cars.
Delphi is considered the go-to for N52 coils.
My delphi has been running good for about 20k miles with ngk wires and plugs.
I don’t like the Delphi ones cause they come apart, if you do spark plugs again say 20k miles passes you could deal with the silicone tube on the end getting stuck down when pulling them, then you gotta be careful and get the spring and that out without the spring flying off somewhere.
The auto shop found out what the problem was as they had replaced two of the ignition coils with OEM and two from a company that produced the ignition coils for Mazda. The two from the company (Delphi) went bad. I have to use only parts from Mazda.
Just did my 2016 Passat SE with Delphi coils in June. Running smooth.
the Delphi coils are what I've installed most recently, and I have the most confidence in them being reliable.
AC Delco is an OEM GM parts and any coil will do pretty much personally I use Delphi ones they seem to last pretty long
