Eventually i'll move to a Super Miata organic or the FM Happymeal, but the Exedy does the job, and the price cant be beat tbh
I used to have a maxi and some grip tape on the flywheel, and just kicking the flywheel fast, like flicking a bic lighter itd start up
I'm running a Sachs with an RSR kit and it's been flawless for many years and miles.
My post history shows that a year ago my flywheel splines got flattened due to the starter.. I replaced it with an EXEDY oem flywheel. Highly recommend ???? karma is a bitch ey.
The Exedy OEM replacement flywheel is a good part. My tuner recommends them and ive run one for years with no issues.
I use SouthBend stage 1 daily kit + Exedy flywheel on my boosted (350whp) build. Love it and have no complaints.
I got the Exedy clutch and bought the lightweight Exedy flywheel becasue the stock wasn't in stock, plus I dont mind trying a bit of a lighter flywheel for fun. Off rock auto.
I have Sachs SRE765 with light billet flywheel. With that you dont have to worry about anything even if decided to boost your car. And its very driveable as a daily toi
I have a stock flywheel and kept vibration dampening. However, the Exedy Stage 1 is still noisy at times, noisier than stock.
That is extremely high! The labor time is 9.2 hours. Bolts from the dealerships are always out of line. You can purchase a dual mass flywheel kit for $1100, if that what the factory one is. Sachs makes some clutch kits with a flywheel that sells for $750 online.
