Best Water pump for Volkswagen Phaeton

I also used a kit from FCP Euro about 8 years ago and it included a HEPU water pump that worked fine for 7 years until I dismantled that car.

Water pump was also renewed within a year, metal impeller, INA brand.

I had a Saleri pump. I changed it at 100,000 in 2013 and bearing was good at around 145,000 in 2021. I inspected it with a camera. It appeared to be leaking at the gasket.

The Saleri started leaking at the shaft so it wasn't an issue with the gasket. The Saleri had a plastic impeller while the OE had a metal impeller.
