I am dealing with a similar issue right now on my CJAA which I changed the timing belt in April this year. Leaking from same spot. Hepu waterpump.

I also used a kit from FCP Euro about 8 years ago and it included a HEPU water pump that worked fine for 7 years until I dismantled that car.

a Hepu which went seven years/60,000 miles before it started leaking. I think the additional mass of the metal impeller put more stress on the bearing and seal.

Water pump if stock would have a plastic impeller known to fail, but you can find metal impeller options from Graf and Hepu brands and from other aftermarket brands too.
