I own a rio 2013. di ko gets bat marami parin nagsabi ng walang parts available sa kia e nasa shopee lang lahat. madali lang rin ayusin, naka DIY na ako nagpalit ng alternator, clock spring, ignition coils at eps motor. halos lahat ng fix nasa youtube lang.
I have a 2007 CRV with 132,500 The car has been reliable and I'm currently dealing with replacing parts due to the age. Since the last quarter of 2025 I replaced the tensioner/belt,mid pipe, muffler/hardware and alternator.
I had this issue with my 2013 civic. Was replacing the battery about every 12-18 months. All the systems tested fine but the problem was fixed when I finally replaced the alternator.
I had a 2016 accord sport that i just sold with over 200k miles. It has all its original belts, water pump, valves, thermostats, and sensors. The only major thing i changed was the alternator. I did regular maintenance and fluid changes with no issues and of course batteries, brakes, and rotors.
My 2017 Kia Soul has 226,500 miles on the body and I have had none of these problems except my alternator died a few months ago but it had 220,000 miles on it.
My alternator just died at 83k miles but otherwise it’s been painless I love the car
I had an 08 Rio that I bought used in 2011 barely used. It was good for a couple of years but once things started to go it was one thing after another. Alternator twice, the starter.
Unfortunately it’s proprietary Hyundai/Kia part. It’s now a common problem that if the alternator goes, so does the transmission because the low voltage fries the shift control solenoid. Lots of people complaining about this and yes, it happened to me.
good luck ever finding an oem alternator that isn\u2019t $1700 from honda dealership. Denso been on back order for fucking years somehow
The first few months of my Kia Sorento purchase, my air conditioning did not work. Then at 61,000 the alternator went and it was 1,000 miles out of warranty.
