I remember the salesman telling us when we bought our outlander XLS back in 2011 was that the were a spartan car company giving you every on the inside. But the doors felt thin to me. We bought it though and I have to say out of all the cars we owned the 5 and 5 and 10 year warranty were amazing. Also that SUV never gave us any issues. We did usual oil changes and had to change the brakes obviously. But nothing other than 1 recall that they took care of. Car was very well built I’d say compared to my Volkswagens Volvos and BMW and minis I’ve owned.

I have the 2015 Mirage with a manual transmission. I bought it used in 2017 with 20k miles. Paid $4000. It has 80k now. Only work I've done to it is brakes, tires and oil changes. I try to drive it to get 40 MPG. Its got a 9 gallon tank, which only cost 30 bucks to fill for a 315 miles range. Say what you will about it but it has saved me money. It does over 90 MPH on the freeway.
The brakes offer as much feedback as any other part of the Evo, though pedal feel is softer than the STi's and the antilock brake system makes more noise. Our test car's best 60-0 stopping distance was 115.8 feet.
