Note: I'm a 28 year old man with no knowledge of how cars work.

In order to save money on my truck, I forced myself to learn how to replace an AC compressor on an F-150 with no mechanical background or knowledge whatsoever. 6 hours of cursing and labor later, I did it.

I've had a rather absurd amount of ford AC compressors that leak from the O-ring seal between the two halves of the compressor.

If it is a rebuilt/reman you violated the cardinal rule...."never ever buy a Reman Ford compressor".
