I had a 1980 Audi 100 (5000 for the US) and the top of the radiator was plastic. I dropped a socket wrench on the overflow bib and broke it off.
Cons: fragile plastic top, easily broken

Der B8 von meinem Vater hat auch überhaupt keine Kühlprobleme - auch bei Anhängebetrieb von 1,3t (laut Audi ist eigentlich ein größerer Kühler nötig, haben aber festgestellt, dass der Stock Kühler einwandfrei das Fahrzeug runterkühlt
