NGK Spark plug

Rating 5.0

I just got whatever the NGK equivalent was of the Denso IK22. One step colder works great on my car considering it gets thrashed. Comes up to temp extremely fast which helps fuel economy.

Pros: works great, fast temp

NGK Spark plug

I went with the NGK rutheniums as they're also rated for 100k and were slightly cheaper on Rock Auto than the iridiums. Supposedly they maintain fuel efficiency longer over their life than iridiums

Pros: maintain fuel efficiency longer
Cons: no personal experience

OEM Honda Spark plug

struggling to home diagnose what’s wrong with my 2015 Honda Fit (around 160k miles). Worked fine 2 days ago when I last used it, Went to turn it on this morning and it sputtered then stopped. Red oil light came on, red battery light, and orange power steering light showed on dash. Brake pedal locked up. We changed the oil, checked battery life (at 70%), replaced spark plugs and alternator coils (needed new ones anyways), and it’s STILL not starting.
