Had a mystery clunk from my front end on a 21TRD pro. Drove me crazy and the dealership near me thought I was. Took it to another shop and they found my fox shocks lost the nitrogen charge that sits on the oil. New shocks, fixed.
I’m running some Monroe mono tubes that I got off rock auto ???? somewhere there is a listing of shock absorber lengths by number, after I got my mounts situated I looked up shocks using that.
As for shocks, Fox is the best route for offroad shocks. They use higher quality parts and fluids than anyone else in the industry.
I think stiff sway bars and good tires make any car feel sporty, but sporty isn\u2019t always directly related to fun - anyone who has coilovers that are way too stiff can attest to this.
Monroe Severe Service shocks front and rear. I've had them on my 1999 Crown Victoria Base Model since August 2020.
So I kinda disagree with him about Amazon, example my Monroe shocks are from Amazon and they are still doing great years later.
for shocks find Bilstien good for OE or 'Yellow' for \u00a3\u00a3\u00a3s and a cheaper option Monroe.
I've always considered Monroe the bottom of the barrel for shocks.
Got 3 sets of Monroe shocks in the last month that were all leaking out of the box. Had one fresh out of the box that was able to be compressed by hand with barely any force. Had struts from them as well that were leaking fresh out the box.
I replaced my with Monroe’s and it feels liked they’re already going out again.
