Denso is what I run and never a problem.
Truly you can’t get anything but the Denso coils. There’s no money buying and installing twice.
Have to use Denso coil packs. All the cheap ones are crap.
If you go to Autozone and open the box of their 2004-2005 coil pack, IF it has a "Denso" or "Made in Japan" sticker on the bottom, it's 100% OEM.
Running much better now. Will eventually replace the other three ignition coils, but those Denzos are $90 a pop.
I did manage to find the oem plugs (12290-rb1-004) for $32 each from hondapartsnow.com and Denso coils from AutoZone (673-2312) for $65 each shipped.
DENSO 6731309 Direct Ignition Coil - Coil on Plug. DENSO coil interchanges with OE Diamond coil; OE Quality Replacement Part
Autozone duralast, cheap and get the job done. Coils are coils and don’t really affect any performance
Duralast coils are known to be problematic
