Antifreeze VALVOLINE or OEM BMW

I’m running 110k miles in my M40 X3. There was a coolant issue but other than that it’s been an excellent engine.

I keep this in the trunk of my mk7. Haven’t had to use it, but I feel comfortable using it in emergencies

Valvoline HT-12, because I can't find genuine BMW coolant in my country.

I use BMW coolant cause it's similar in price, so why not. Actuall,y a little cheaper cause my dealer does discounts

By “air intake reservoir tank”, I assume you mean it’s the coolant tank for the water-air charge cooler. We need to know what car to tell if the coolant is suitable. That “G30” on the front is the important bit.

They called her back again to say after they started working on it, it's not the water pump, but a coolant leak at the cylinder head, at the head gasket, so what was originally a water pump, is now a head gasket job, 3-4 days.
