Antifreeze Pentosin or VALVOLINE

I keep this in the trunk of my mk7. Haven’t had to use it, but I feel comfortable using it in emergencies

Valvoline HT-12, because I can't find genuine BMW coolant in my country.

Pentosin Pentofrost

Now running a Valvoline 50/50 mix with no issues

I use the blue antifreeze (G11) that was specified for my 1987 16V. I am currently running 10W40 synthetic oil.

I use Pentofrost (Pentosin is the OEM supplier to Porsche). Our local NAPA carries it even.

Valvolines is cross compatable

Pentosin is one of my trusted brands. I would not hesitate to use it.

I used 3 of those Pentosin blue with a bottle of Water Wetter and the rest is water.. my temp is 30 degree higher than it was before and I don't know what the heck it was in there before which is this yellow/green milky stuff, it sure kept the engine mostly below 180. But now I hit 220-230 easily
