Deep south Louisiana here. Highs in the lower-mid 90s but frequently 99% humidity. '24 MYLR. She does great in the heat. No problems whatsoever. But, I have not only installed a sun shade up top but have also put a layer of insulated radiant barrier (bubble wrap looking stuff) between the sunshade and the glass. Otherwise the roof glass cannot be touched in the summer.
I have the HeatShield and it's well made.
Best I’ve found and have for all my vehicles to include my XC90! $50 but worth $250.
The VW accessory sun shade for the Golf Mk7 (what VW calls a sunshield) is part # 5GM-064-366. I've used one for years and it works well.
It fits your windshield perfectly.
Nothing wrong with Subaru’s that the best made one I’ve found.
My OEM fits great (23 OBW). Sure it doesn’t fold as compact as a flexible one, but I like the Subaru logo.
I got the OEM one for my '21, and while it's nice, I feel like the gaps around it are a bit on the big side.
The OEM one that came with mine in an accessory package is super nice and also the most awkward and cumbersome sunshade I’ve ever used.
I had ordered the OEM Subaru accordion-style one, but it was honestly terrible; really long and rigid, hard to unfold and put up, and very expensive.
