I have the 2020 model it has 66,500 currently. I have replaced a strut mount and the aux battery, brakes and tires. It has been a solid, fun car.

I noted a drop off in quality in some of OEM AC/Delco parts (purchased from the dealer) that were made in China vs. their older counterparts made in Mexico. These were upper strut mounts for my Tahoe - the Mexican made ones were absolutely quiet during winter in Canada, whereas the Chinese ones would make all sorts of noises in winter but were fine during summer.
First MY 2012 Ford Focus SE Front strut mounts/bearings that would make a slight knock at low speed in rough parking lots. Common issue, TSB cured under warranty.
I tried Monroe strit mounts two years ago, they were supposed to be OEM-quality units. The rubber and overall construction seemed good, but the bearings were shot after just one summer season of street driving. Upon closer inspection, the don't even state a manufacturer on the bearing...
I think one of my front strut mounts is starting to VW already. Stupid things.
VW has gottta address these strut mounts, because they suck.
I would stay away from their strut mounts with the bearings. Mine were garbage and clunking over bumps right out of the box. I had to replace them with Monroes since I didn't feel like renting the spring compressor to deal with it
