These days I use CRC Freeze off, it’s in a blue can. It’s works extremely well, as good as kroil.

My shop uses ac Delco stuff. Works really well if you give it time to work its way down. Works better than wd40 and pb blaster which are both worthless.

I did that with my license plate screws, let it sit overnight and they came right out
