Update. I've replaced the copy ignition switch for a new VEMO V15-80-3229. I got that part from looking at used ignition barrels on ebay from the same cars and year. Everything is working again.!

Ive since gotten a replacement Vemo branded sensor however I am now getting Camshaft sensor faults via INPA and a massive loss of power and fuel economy (~15L to do 60kms).

Cons: camshaft sensor faults, power loss, poor fuel economy
