I use Valvoline 75w 90 on my 2022 Highlander all-wheel-drive so far so.
Valvoline full synthetic 75W-90 has been my go to on my 2020 Highlander. GL-5 spec and one pouch is just enough to do both the transfer case and rear differential.
Diffs and transfer case are synthetic Valvoline.
I've used valvoline synthetic 75-90 for 6 years, two changes with no issues, $15 at walmart with squeezy bags or $12 at napa. Did mine yesterday, had about 50k / 3 years since my last change and honestly, they didn't need changed
I just ordered 6 quarts of Valvoline VPS 75W-90. According to my oil test guy he claims its the #1 in shear strength currently.
I like the Valvoline synthetic. I've tried Amsoil. It was ok, but not any better than Valvoline. BTW, Valvoline meets more specifications than Mobil 1, so I'd stick with Valvoline.
