Tokico Shock absorbers

I had the rear shocks replaced yesterday on my 2008 Vios (Yaris Sedan) with Tokico brand. The old shocks were completely worn out, but the difference now is night and day. The car feels much better—it’s more stable, quieter over bumps, and the rear end is far less bouncy.

Pros: more stable, quieter over bumps, less bouncy
Vehicle: Toyota Vios

I went 140k miles on my original tokico blues (Mazdaspeed Protege) but they should have been replaced around 100k. They handle great and you could probably autocross on them without much trouble

Pros: handle great, good for autocross
Cons: should be replaced earlier
Vehicle: Mazda Protege
Mileage: 225308 km

Pros: New parts installed
Vehicle: Volkswagen

With R compound tires, I was keeping up with well driven S2000s on Starspec and RS3s. My buddy drives the S2000 and we are exactly even in the straightway of the track. This is on stock springs and a set of Tokico illumina shocks.

Pros: keeping up well driven
Vehicle: Nissan Maxima
Mileage: 25000 km

I had the opportunity to drive a regular SRT-4 and an ACR version on an autocross course, and while the SRT-4 is undeniably composed, the ACR version is just that much better. Like the SRT-4, the ACR version can be driven very aggressively with no big surprises, but it especially responds to smoothness. The tires and suspension are astoundingly capable, and lap after lap, don't give up. Inside, the new front seats are grippy and supportive.

Pros: grippy and supportive seats, capable tires and suspension
Vehicle: Dodge Neon
