I put in an Alpine ILX-207 double DIN unit years ago, then this Spring, some Pioneer 6.5s in all the doors, and some MB quart 2.75\" (IIRC) in the dash. Also put in a powered Nakamichi 10\" sub under the driver's seat. It sounds really great for the money and I still have full use of the rear cargo area. The deck has plenty of power for the setup, and it's definitely louder than I need.
I have a Fox and this is standard on mine - charges great - I have a Pioneer 50W Mosfet DEH-4800 (I think that's the model number - one of those 4000's) Oversized 6 1/2\" in the back and 3 1/2\" in front - (all Pioneer) left the damn thing on overnight accidentally - music playing low and all - tried to turn it on - didn't even hesitate - cranked right over - I would highly recommend it being Scirocco compatible (later year I'm sure it'll work) idles great, charges great, great price too
