I changed an alternator on one of these babies and it had AC. Took about 4 hours and thousands of curse words and a few bloody knuckles.

I took my 22 Traverse to the dealership last Friday. They told me I had a bad battery...my alternator is completely out. Then they call me today telling me my alternator part has been installed just to tell me that my alternator harness also needed to be replaced...I’m at like $3200 between an alternator and then having to go back and do an alternator harness.
I've seen it twice, both had alternators. The first was a Chevy truck. I was standing right there but didn't speak up fast enough and it took out the alternator.
I had to replace the alternator and battery in my '99 Blazer because the voltage regulator slowly failed, after I replaced them I noticed the dim/flickering interior lights came back to full intensity and the annoying whine coming from my speakers dissapeared
The only issues I had were with the alternator eating it's own bearings every couple of years or so and an intermittent cooling problem on the 2.8 that ultimately ended up being a blown head gasket.
That Beretta served her well for years, with only a typical alternator issue being a problem later in it's life.
