Get one of these battery chargers. You don't need anyone around, nor do you need cables of any length. It has emergency light, can charge your cell phone, a very bright LED light and I think it can be charged using the socket in your car. This puppy has saved us 4 times during C-19 when we weren't going anywhere and stupidly not starting the cars in the winter.

Regarding your battery, one thing I highly recommend is this: [https://www.bestproducts.reviews/noco-battery-chargers?origin=google&google\\_params\\[matchtype\\]=&google\\_params\\[network\\]=x&google\\_params\\[device\\]=c&google\\_params\\[creative\\]=&google\\_params\\[keyword\\]=&google\\_params\\[adposition\\]=&google\\_params\\[adgroupid\\]=&google\\_params\\[campaignid\\]=22892631530&bs=&google\\_params\\[feeditemid\\]=&google\\_params\\[targetid\\]=&google\\_params\\[loc\\_interest\\_ms\\]=&google\\_params\\[loc\\_physical\\_ms\\]=9021532&google\\_params\\[devicemodel\\]=&google\\_params\\[target\\]=&dest=0&sys\\_id=0|916&gad\\_source=1&gad\\_campaignid=22886963910&gbraid=0AAAAADpOwZaRJ33uq-3k5HW9uk7E2m-BM&gclid=Cj0KCQiAosrJBhD0ARIsAHebCNpnNj0jEZY1EqAMIHR9X9hQd273o68k1bGEm1JvRZOCDM4Yyv7zWCkaAsuiEALw\\_wcB](https://www.bestproducts.reviews/noco-battery-chargers?origin=google&google_params[matchtype]=&google_params[network]=x&google_params[device]=c&google_params[creative]=&google_params[keyword]=&google_params[adposition]=&google_params[adgroupid]=&google_params[campaignid]=22892631530&bs=&google_params[feeditemid]=&google_params[targetid]=&google_params[loc_interest_ms]=&google_params[loc_physical_ms]=9021532&google_params[devicemodel]=&google_params[target]=&dest=0&sys_id=0|916&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22886963910&gbraid=0AAAAADpOwZaRJ33uq-3k5HW9uk7E2m-BM&gclid=Cj0KCQiAosrJBhD0ARIsAHebCNpnNj0jEZY1EqAMIHR9X9hQd273o68k1bGEm1JvRZOCDM4Yyv7zWCkaAsuiEALw_wcB)\n\nIt's a small but mighty battery charger. No need for long jumper cables or another car to jump you. Just attach the cables to you battery (by yourself), get in the car and it'll start right up. No fear of sparking, fire or shocks. It's saved me several times.
All I know is using a NOCO or equivalent battery charger is far superior to the solid state battery cookers that used to be common.
I had a 4-year old AGM 12v that wouldn't hold a resting charge above 12.14V after dying. Did several repair cycles with the charger and now holds a resting charge of 12.6+ volts.
Comfort battery charged up. Starter battery didn't take much time to charge. I really like this charger and it seems to be getting great reviews. It has a number of different modes it automatically works in depending on what it senses from the battery and how long you leave it plugged in for. It's really small... it has an AGM mode... it has a high capacity starting mode...
