I got the K&N Engineering Fuel Filter for mine, and I've been happy with it.
Pros: satisfactory performance

On my mk3 I ran a fuel cell gravity feeding a bosch 044 pump with -6hose. I chose a K&N fuel filter that had a billet aluminum body with a screen disk as the filter. K&N verified this was OK for fuel injection. Well, the pump was so high flow that the screen filter was a real restriction and bent the screen kind of forcing it half way through the hole.
Cons: real restriction, bent the screen
