I've used both royal purple and ams. As long as you use oem oil filter, you'll get great results. I feel like I got better temps with ams under load but it's not by much.

I use AMS, 3 different oils. I find they reduce primary, engine and transmission noise, compared to syn3 in all 3 holes.

Replace your cvt fluid that is spec n2-n3 for nissans. I have a 2018 rogue. Changed the cvt and rear diff with Ams oil. Way smoother shifting.

Thats why i use AMS oil. 0w-16. Even higher specs then toyota or nissan( nissan uses a Japanese company)

My yz250 runs phenomenal on ams dominator, but if I can’t get to a place that sells that I run the VP brand 2 stroke oil. It’s a pretty good alternative

I had the AMS intercooler installed a couple weeks ago. My guy said it was the easiest IC install they’ve every had and they’ve been working on VW’s for 14 years
