I used to have a similar dashcam as well and had the same issue. I upgraded to 70mai A810s instead.

I personally use the 70mai A800s 4K dashcam. It’s been really good so far. I’ve connected it to the usb hub so when I turn on the car it automatically turns on as well. The rear camera is useless since it always points upwards. So you’ll need to buy a rear camera mount for it.
Pros: really good, automatic turn on
Cons: rear camera useless, points upwards, needs mount
