Got the new abs unit in and it fixed all my issues. The brakes also grab significantly better than before.

So I built the new ABS unit into my car and coded it as "1 6 D" said. I copied the coding of the old unit and pasted to the new one. I added "00" to the end and the new unit accepted the coding.

Hi! I have a Golf mk6 2009 160hp. I got the Christmas lights at the dash and the dealer said new abs unit for >€1200... I found a guy to repair it (he has repaired lots of units) and when I plugged in the repaired unit all the lights went away.
