looks like your steering rack is dancing LOL... i replaced mine with energy suspension polyurethane. night and day difference. the job wasn't too bad.

Poly ones are a great upgrade here regardless of if you're keeping it stock or upgrading, it only adds to the ride quality.

I currently have energy suspension bushings all around on my 69 Camaro. Lube them up well when you install them and they won't squeak. It will ride a bit firmer as it won't absorb road imperfections like the rubber bushings do.

I had this done on mine recently too, I'm very happy with the results. I didn't have any odd vibrations, but there was just too much play in the system. One of the bushings was so worn it was causing a metal-on-metal clank feel through the steering when hitting any bumps off-road.
